Precision placement of ornaments to create depth and contrast. Excellent color trend –chartreuse and silver. Clever use of plastic tubing to create extension from base shape and implied motion.
The lime green and silver color combination is surprising for Christmas but spectacular against the backdrop of dark pine. Serpentine-coiled tubing catches your eye, especially when you notice sparkly birds perched and ornaments dangling from the ends.
Excellent use of material as a decorative element. Ornaments create a great texture as well as whimsical element to the design. The careful combination of greens and silvers helped to create a delicate balance and softens the impact of the chartreuse. Having the tubing spiral outside the shape of the tree adds to the whimsy. Very well executed!

This tree is red hot! Amaryllis berries, plaid ribbons and feather…very organic and spectacular all at once!
Composition is very good – product is balanced as far as color and texture. Use of stems of amaryllis was very clever.
Spectacular use of product to achieve a remarkable look! Unusual elements used abundantly. Very modern feel with use of the new “it” flower for Christmas – amaryllis! |

Old World charm meets modern day design! Like the idea of using one focal item and highlighting its placement with opulent shower of luxurious ribbon. Excellent blend of ornaments with a variety of shapes, forms and textures.
It combines the very traditional candlelit German Christmas tree with modern cascading colorful ribbons that burst forth from an elf. Kind of like Mardi Gras meets St. Nick!
The traditional candlelights and ornaments of this tree provide an Old World feel. The Christmas elf with the flowing ribbon gives a more modern day feel. The combination of old and new colors creates a cohesive and well-balanced tree, while keeping the feeling of a traditional Christmas tree.

Lights N' Such
Lights on the inside, leather and fringe as the sheathing of the tree are two of the elements that make this crafted tree unique. Its simplicity certainly makes it the perfect stage for silhouetted western-themed cutouts and ornaments.
Very creative use of materials. This is really thinking outside the box. Good use of light, shade and shadow. This tree really creates the feeling from the high desert. Good job!
Such an unusual combination of materials and forms. Wonderful illumination to silhouette the western forms. |

Good use of materials to create a sense of underwater atmosphere for this inverted tree. Cohesive colors and great idea using the reflecting chain of blue to create the bubbles of the water.
Under the sea and under the tree! This upside-down tree is the perfect shape to showcase a marine theme. Ornaments remind you of escaping bubbles. Seaweed along with ornaments is beautiful aquas, blues and teals.
Like the use of the upside-down tree for this theme. You get the impression that you are exploring the treasures under the sea! Great for seaside retail locations or beach homes! |

Wonderful texture created by materials selected. Like the accents of the oversized jingle bells. Very masculine feeling tree, which can be hard to achieve!
Oversized copper jingle bells, red berries and feathers move from fall to Christmas without unnerving traditionalists. This would warm up a library or study.
Nice use of scale. Contrast of sizes gives impact of product. Nice blending of traditional red and green with this buckskin color of the bells. Good job! |

Great use of product to create a beautiful and elegant traditional red and green Christmas tree. The ornaments & color are well balanced and creates a cohesive look.
This traditional tree shows a beautiful balance of color and shapes. The color combination is new and fresh – chocolate and raspberry with starry white accents and feathers.
Excellent use of woodland materials in an elegant presentation. The burgundy, copper and brown combination is very effective especially when accented with the white birdhouses. |

Ambiance Today
Very “seussical” in feeling. Clever use of products and unusual items like the “hot” colors! Very young and cool for younger consumers who are looking for something extreme and fun!
This captures the imagination of youth, is fun and reminiscent of Dr. Seuss! It's a fairy tale with cartoony colors and still translates as a Christmas tree. Unusual use of materials from yarn and foil to mohair.
Very creative use of materials! |

Kebbie Hollingsworth
Kebbie Hollingsworth Floral Designs Very creative use of materials. The lighting gives the illusion of snow and ice!
This tree says SNOW but not in a flaky way! Layer upon layer of simple white foam shapes symbolize snowballs and presents combined to make a simple but elegant tree that glows from the inside out.
Imaginative use of Styrofoam and light. Like the “white on white affect” of the stems, berries and snowflakes used on top of the foam, to animate it! |

The blending of oversized ornaments and smaller forms makes this more distinctive to the eye. All elements are woven tastefully together to achieve a unified whole.
Generously sized ornaments in updated colors – lime greens, cobalt blues, persimmon and copper. Pinecones balance nature with rich manmade orbs all tied together with a gold net ribbon.
The colors and textures of this tree are well balanced giving the tree a coordinated and cohesive look. A nice take on traditional colors that brings it to current day color palette. |
